Architecture Photography
Target Audience: The target audience for this campaign was prospective college students aged 16-23. This is the age range of traditional college students who would be coming in from high school or transferring in.
Hardware Used: Canon Rebel t5, strobes and tripod
Software Used: Photoshop, Lightroom
Purpose: The intention for these pieces was to be used by Pittsburg State University’s marketing team to show the campus in new and interesting ways.

B&W vs Colored Image
When editing this piece, I had to make the tough decision on whether to use the Black and White version or the colored image. Ultimately I liked the classic look of the desaturated version for this project.
It may not look like it, but there is a lot more editing in this photo than meets the eye.
As you can see in the .gif to the left, there were actually several obstructions in the way of the building when I took the photo.
By Removing them, the end result gives a cleaner look at the building and removes distractions. I used a mix of content aware fill and generative fill to remove them.
