AMC BRAND CAMPAIGN


Target Audience: I created an AMC Theatres brand campaign targeting movie lovers. The target demographic for the sites where these are posted are anywhere between 13-45 years old. I am targeting this area because it encompasses younger, more tech-literate audiences and older users who have a longer appreciation for the movie theater experience.

Purpose: My purpose for these pieces was to show AMC’s core values, friendly, clean and quick, and present them in a campaign that is captivating to social media users. I did this by making engaging content that promoted AMC’s brand and fostering excitement for going to see the latest blockbuster.

Hardware Used: Canon Rebel t5, strobes, light diffusers, light modifiers, and tripod

Software Used: Photoshop, Lightroom


BEHIND THE SCENES


When starting this project I began by identifying my overall objective, showing AMC’s core values through the perspective of the customer, and then chose where I wanted the content to end up. In this case the images would be uploaded to different social media platforms, which helped me define the target demographics I would be aiming for. After I defined my objectives and audience I made some mock photos with my phone (Examples shown below).

After creating some rough draft images I took my first attempt at photographing the vision in my head. I received some feedback from my class and realized it seemed more like the crew member was taking the drink for himself, not handing it to a guest (Pictured to the below). After that I made some adjustments and on my second attempt I created the final image.
