Cosmic Eye Album Cover

Target Audience: I imagine this album cover being bought by men, aged 25-40. From experience, people who enjoy space themed rock music tend to be older men born in the 80s. With that in mind, I made the cover reminiscent of other space rock albums.

Purpose: This album cover was designed to peak the interest of rock music lovers. I designed this piece to be eye-catching, making people stop and wonder what an album with this cover might sound like.

BEHIND THE SCENES

This project was the culmination of 8 different stock images for the fictional band Cosmic Eye. I used Photoshop to bring together and alter elements of the images to create something entirely different. I imagined the band having a space rock sound, like Muse, and took inspiration from the album Black Holes and Revelations, which can be seen below.
